What the Care Plan for Business includes

Monitoring and managed updates

Your computers are watched by professional-grade monitoring and management software, the same kind larger IT providers rely on. Operating system and software updates, including security patches, are handled for you.

Enhanced endpoint protection

Protection on every covered computer, and someone who actually reads the alerts and follows up when something needs a closer look.

Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace

Accounts, email, shared files, permissions, and two-step sign-in, administered properly instead of whenever someone gets locked out.

New staff and departing staff

A computer and accounts ready on day one, and access removed cleanly on the last day, with their files kept for the business.

Firewall and network management

Your firewall, Wi-Fi, and network equipment kept updated and configured, so the office network is not the weak spot.

Vendor coordination

Your internet provider, phone company, and software vendors, handled by someone who speaks their language so you do not have to.

Regular check-ins

A regular review of how things are running and what is coming up, like computers that are getting old or licenses that need attention.

30minutes per computer, every month

Pooled support time

30 minutes of support per computer each month, shared across your office. We fix things remotely when we can and come out when the problem needs hands on it.

How the pooled support time works

Each covered computer adds 30 minutes to a monthly pool your whole office shares. A five-computer office gets two and a half hours a month to use however it needs, whether that is one long visit or a handful of quick remote fixes. Unused time does not roll over to the next month.

If you need more time in a busy month, additional on-site time is 10% off our standard business rate. You will always know before extra time starts.

Managed IT pricing

We would rather you know where you stand before you ever pick up the phone, so the starting price is right here instead of behind a sales call.

  • Care Plan for Business $75 per computer per month, starting price
  • ServersQuoted separately, because they take more work to look after.
  • OnboardingA one-time fee based on the size of your office, never more than $40 per computer, and less per computer for larger offices.
  • Backup and password managementAvailable as add-ons, quoted for your office.
  • No contractIt is month to month.

How support works

During business hours, which are Monday to Friday 8:30 AM to 7:30 PM, and Saturday and Sunday 9 AM to 5 PM, Arizona time, remote help is usually the same day. When something needs hands on it, we can be at your office within one to two business days.

If your business needs something outside what we provide, we will tell you during the free assessment and point you to the right provider. A good fit matters more to us than signing every office we meet.

Co-managed IT for offices with an IT person

Already have someone who handles IT? Co-managed IT is the same $75 per computer, and it makes their job easier instead of replacing them:

  • CoverageSomeone to call when they are on vacation, out sick, or simply busy with something bigger.
  • Less routine workMonitoring, updates, and patching handled, so their time goes to the projects only they can do.
  • A second set of eyesHelp thinking through upgrades, security, and the decisions that are hard to make alone.

Who the Care Plan for Business fits

Offices with 1 to 15 computers, on Windows, Mac, or both, including servers and network equipment. That covers a lot of Tucson: retail shops, professional offices, labs, and medical and dental practices.

Medical and dental offices

We can help your practice meet the security requirements of the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act, or HIPAA: controlled access to patient information, two-step sign-in, encrypted devices, systems kept up to date, and knowing exactly which devices touch patient data.

The free assessment is a good place to start. We inventory every device, check where your security stands, and point out the red flags worth fixing first. Just keep in mind it is a snapshot of where things stand today, not a compliance report.

Experience behind the plan

He has seen managed IT from the inside, and the Care Plan for Business is built around what small offices actually need from it.

What happens if we use more than our support time?

Each covered computer adds 30 minutes of support to a monthly pool your whole office shares. Unused time does not roll over. If you need more in a given month, additional on-site time is 10% off our standard business rate.

How fast do you respond?

During business hours, remote help is usually the same day. When something needs hands on it, we can be on-site within one to two business days.

Can you work with our in-house IT person?

Do you support Macs and servers?

Yes. The plan covers Windows and Mac computers, and we also manage firewalls and network equipment. Servers are covered too, quoted separately because they take more work to look after.

Can you help our practice with HIPAA?

What does the free assessment include?

We take an inventory of your devices, look at the current security of your environment, and point out any major red flags. It gives us both a clear picture before you decide anything. It is not a compliance report.
